and Duties: Health science librarians use innovative strategies to access and
deliver important information for patient care, research, and publication. They
may be called on to connect decision tools into a patient’s electronic medical record.
Or they also may be asked to find consumer health information in a patients
native language.
Salary: Average
entry level salary was $49,060
Average of all
U.S. full time health science librarians is $66,622 per year
Education: to
become a profession you must at least have a master’s degree in library or
information sciences required. A background in science, in health science or allied
health can help but it’s not necessary.
My Reflection : I think that this job would be a good job for people who are creative but have curiosity have communication skills and have the ability to make innovative ideas.in my perspective I thnk that this job would be good for me beccause it would be good to work as a health science librarian.
